About the Therapist...

I find writing about myself most difficult… in fact; I don’t like doing it at all. However, I wouldn’t want to go to a massage therapist, who wouldn’t give any information about him/herself, so I shall do my best. The basics: Grew up in Minnesota (cold winters, hot, humid summers. Good baseball team) 3 children... all grown up and out on their own. Have lived in Tacoma for a very long time. Love sports, kids and cats, candy, cookies and spaghetti (but not limited to). Became interested in massage when I found it to be the only thing to help get rid of my headaches. Became interested in hypnotherapy when I became so fearful of flying that I could barely drive to the airport... (love it now…well, maybe not LOVE, but strongly like) Enjoy skiing. Favorite movies... Gone With The Wind, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Finding Forester. Went skydiving once... once was enough. Etc., etc… On a more serious note, and at the risk of sounding cliché, I find great satisfaction in helping people feel better. If I can help someone feel better in some way, it brings me much joy. I know that massage helps people feel better, because it did and does for me. It’s quite simple, really….if we can all help somebody else have a better day, what a better world we will have.
